Pregnancy occurs when a sperm fertilizes an egg after it is released from the ovary during ovulation. The fertilized egg then travels down into the uterus, where implantation occurs. A successful implantation results in Pregnancy. On average, a full-term Pregnancy lasts 40 weeks. Diagnosis of the same can be done at home through a home-pregnancy test. The gynaecologist would also suggest doing blood tests and urine tests followed with ultrasound to confirm the same.

Each of the pains or discomforts can be handled according to the advice of the doctor. Any medication or other supplements have to be consumed only with the advice of the doctor since the unborn child’s health and well being needs to be kept in view. Serious conditions have to be dealt with on priority.
