Hi I am a man, I am 49 years old and I have a foley catheter in my urethra after a bladder operation. I had surgery on my bladder 5 times using the turb method. The first histopathological result was positive pta 2.5 years ago, after which the other 3 were negative. I was treated with bcg. Now i'm waiting for the fifth result. Can I masturbate under these conditions with the foley catheter in the urethra?

Dear user, based on the condition of the patient, you can use the tray for direct urination. And if the patient is unconscious you can always use adult diapers. But in case of any tests to be done on the urine, collection has to be done from the catheter which is why a catheter is preferred. Dear Doctor, just before few days my grandfather foley catheter was removed and he was feeling burning effect while urinating so doctor advised him to take levofloxacin 750 mg tablet namely l-cin 750 for 5 days along with alkasol. During course of medication he was not having any problem but just 1 day after stopping L-Cin 750 he is facing difficulty in urination. What should he do now. Should he use medicine for next few more days.

Lao start him on urimax d once daily if he is not taking any medicine for prostate. Even after starting this medicine he feels difficulty in passing urine or he goes into retention then meet a urologist he might need prostate surgery.
