Your technique may need modification. Pinch the skin, introduce the needle perpendicularly, not at an angle. After you have injected the insulin, count to 10 to allow some time. Then remove the needle and do nothing to the injection site. You can always use pen device to ensure consisted delivery of insulin with negligible discomfort.

Hi Sir, I am using lilly insulin pen with humalog mix 25/75 cartridge. My question is which mm needle is suitable 4 mm, 5 mm or 6 mm? Currently I am using novo 6 mm needle. Can I use 4 mm needle? Should I pinch the skin while using 4 mm needle or should I directly inject the insulin without pinching the skin?

Just be sure she is not suffering from hepatitis B or C. If not then just take inj T intramuscular If yes which is very rare. You need to take treatment And BTW diabetes is not communicable it does not spread by needle injury but if you remain sedentary n don't exercise regularly there are chances you may get diabetes due to family history.
