We generally use the word 'stress' when we feel that everything becomes too much to handle - we are overloaded and wonder whether we can cope with the pressures placed upon us. Nowadays stress is a normal part of life. Almost everyone has some sort of stress. Constantly reacting to stressful situations without making adjustments to counter the effects, threatens our health and well-being. There are steps you can help you managing day to day stressful conditions and take to feel better. 1.Be realistic: If you feel overwhelmed by some activities (yours and/or your family's), learn to say NO! Eliminate an activity that is not absolutely necessary. You may be taking on more responsibility than you can or should handle. If you meet resistance, give reasons why you're making the changes. Be willing to listen to other's suggestions and be ready to compromise. 2.Shed the 'superman/superwoman' urge: No one is perfect, so don't expect perfection from yourself or others. Ask yourself, 'What really needs to be done? How much can I do? Is the deadline realistic? What adjustments can I make? Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it. 3.Take one thing at a time: For people under tension or stress, their day-to-day workload can sometimes seem unbearable. The best way to cope with this feeling of being overwhelmed is to take one task at a time. Make a list of things you need to get done and start with one task. Once you accomplish that task, choose the next one. The positive feeling of 'checking off' tasks is very satisfying. To feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking.

Excessive stress can lead to negative impact on your life. You need to reduce your stress levels by being better organised with regards to your studies. Make a daily schedule and also list short term and long term goals that you want to achieve (may be in next one week, month or two months). Have 30-40 minutes slot for studying with regular intervals of 10 -15 minutes (you can do a bit of stretching/ exercise/walk, check your messages or have a chat with someone). Use methods of learning which will help you retain information in better manner (making links among contents, using imagery methods). In your schedule, include slot for some physical activity and your hobby or doing things that interest you. Try to relax and take on day at a time. Make goals which will be achievable so that you can have positive feedback for your efforts.

Hello. For reducing stress ask him to do relaxation training, deep breathing exercises, ask him to sleep around 6 hour, and some physical exercises, like walking jogging.

Hello, eat a well balanced nutritious diet and drink a plenty of water through out the day. Cut short your sugar and salt intake. Go for a morning walk daily. Practice yoga and pranayam daily. Take a sound sleep of around 7-8 hours. Try to avoid stress and anger. Take care.
