Anything taken in large quantity is harmful. Instead take it without sugar alternate day in the morning hours. 100 ml per day is OK.

I am suffering from diabetes since last 2 years and taking allopathic medicine. I am also taking ayurvedic medicine but it is not coming to normal. Can you suggest Ayurvedic medicine to control it.

You may takes Chandrprabha vati 2-2 tab and shiva gutika 1-1 Amree plus 1-1 tab twice daily, take gudmar choorna 3gm twice daily after meal but you must continue the allopathic medicine, You may add karela juice, giloya amla juice.

My last three readings 2 hours after dinner is 163,157 and 166. I am taking istamet 50/500 as 1-0-1 are they in good range or on a higher side? Also can any one suggest whether can I take kapiva karela jamun juice or not?

The tablet you’re taking is fine try to exercise more so that your sugar levels are on lower side.

No. There are no side effects. But walk daily for 20 minutes. Stop eating rice and sweet. You should be alright. You are on right track.

I am 32 years old woman, having diabetes type 2 and hypothyroidism since a few years and I have been taking metformin 500 mg twice a day, and thyroxine tab 100 mcg once in morning, I tested my blood sugar it always comes > 250. I have started walking on the treadmill for 15 minutes twice a day, and also have started taking karela jamun amla wheat grass juice and methi powder, and eating only multigrain flour made chapatis, and oats and other millets, I don't eat rice or maida or any such unhealthy and oily food. But still I am always lethargic and exhausted. As I am an online teacher most of my day goes sitting in my office. I want to switch to ayurveda. What should I do to control both diseases.

1.no alcohol 3. No smoking/ tobacco/drugs/ avoid pollution 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water medicine can not be advised for open question ,for medicine and further advise contact on private consults. Good luck.
