Many companies offer many types of products, and often promote them with serious-looking advertisements that include endorsements from "scientific" researchers. Look closely — you'll see that claims of safety and effectiveness haven't been proved. Marketers rely on testimonials, skewed data and questionable before-and-after photos. Dietary supplements don't require approval by the food and drug administration, so manufacturers don't have to prove safety or effectiveness. U can try this - 1. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 2. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 3. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). Or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits (eat whole fruit not juice), a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk, a cheese cube/slice/ banana shake etc 5. Don't smoke. Smokers tend to weigh less than non-smokers, and quitting smoking often leads to weight gain.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don?t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include whole grains, pulses, seeds, nuts, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Include various shakes and smoothies, dry fruits and nuts, ghee and other healthy fats, multigrain or whole wheat bread, cheese to your diet. Eat more potatoes, rice and bananas. You can also try peanut butter or other nut butters. Increase your protein consumption. If you eat non-veg, eat it more often. If not then have paneer, chickpeas, dals and other beans and lentils.
