Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Some studies have shown that excess intake of soy milk has led to reduced sperm count, decreased libido and may be importance. But consuming about 25 g of soy per day is unlikely to cause any such problem. So you can consume a lesser quantity daily. One of the possibility is soy has a lot of phytoestrogens, which may be the cause Thanks.
Soya has the highest amount of protein. Use 2 Cups of Dhal or Sundal or Sprouts. You can use whole pulses such as channa rajma can be used twice a week. Take milk or Curd about 500 ml per day.

There are many controversies surrounding soy. Some studies say soy protein is good and beneficial. But some studies say that it may be an allergen especially the GMO soy. Having too much of soy might give thyroid issues (more common in women than men). Taking in moderation will not affect thyroid hormones.
You can try pea protein instead of soy protein, if you are worried.
Soy protein may hamper the absorption of thyroid hormone tablets hence advised to take either in the afternoon or night. The tablet has to be taken on empty stomach in the mor ning atleast 30 min before food.
