Information about Gaviscon Syrup

Gaviscon Syrup contains Sodium Alginate - 250 mg, Sodium Bicarbonate - 133.5 mg, and Calcium Carbonate - 80 mg.

Role of key ingredients:
Sodium Alginate helps reduce gastric reflux by forming a rigid raft of alginic acid in the stomach.
Sodium Bicarbonate is used as an antacid to treat heartburn, indigestion, and upset stomach. It works by reducing stomach acid.
Calcium Carbonate is an antacid that lowers the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby providing relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach.

Gaviscon Syrup is used to treat gastritis, oesophageal reflux, acidity, esophagitis and dyspepsia.

Whenever you do breathing in and out you will feel pain in the upper back, middle back and also the pain will radiate upwards until the shoulder and also up to the chest. You might feel chest congestion and tightness and that be due to gastric trouble. Kindly do breathing exercises which might help you to get reduced with pain in the back and shoulder. Drink hot water to reduce the gastric trouble. Kindly consult gastroenterologist if you doesn?t improve.
