It is an agent that causes diffusion of thick mucus. Uncontrolled quantity of nitric oxide (NO) is related to inflammation and other kinds of disruptions of the functioning of the airways. This syrup inhibits the activation of guanylate cyclase which is nitric oxide dependent. The medicine is also assigned to stimulation via beta-adrenergic receptors of the intracellular adenylyl cyclase. The intracellular adenyl cyclase enzyme causes conversion of adenosine triphosphate into adenosine monophosphate.
