मेडलर टॅब्लेट (Medler Tablet) is a multidrug composition and works via multiple mechanisms. It contains active constituent which belongs to a first-generation antihistamine, which is used to prevent the allergic symptoms from conditions such as urticaria and rhinitis. This drug binds to the histamine H1 receptor, which prevents the action from endogenous histamine. It also works as a COX inhibitor and adrenergic agonist hence reduces inflammation and pain in the airway passage and nose. Also, it works by narrowing the swelling of blood vessels in the ear and nose, thereby providing great relief from discomfort. Lastly, adenosine receptors get deactivated when the drug is consumed and leads to an increase in energy.
