About Triolen 5Mg Tablet

Triolen 5Mg Tablet is often used for the treatment of a number of skin problems. Triolen 5Mg Tablet is a light sensitive drug. It is known to absorb long wave ultraviolet rays and give out radiations. It is used in combination with PUVA therapy (ultraviolet light) to treat skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, different types of atopic dermatitis, and other disorders caused by certain kinds of lymphoma. The medicine can be taken orally or applied on the skin topically. The topical application conducted by making the patient soak in a bath that contains the Triolen 5Mg Tablet. Following that UVA light therapy is applied as a part of the treatment. This kind of therapy is not recommended for children and only carried out on adults suffering from severe forms of dermal diseases. During the course of the treatment it is necessary to protect eyes and genitals (in men) to prevent cancerous growths. This treatment also bears the risk of causing genital cancers. The treatment that might expose the eyes to harmful ultraviolet radiations may also increase the chances of cataracts and serious eye infections. Therefore it is necessary to wear protective goggles during the procedure. The treatment may also aggravate some other allergic skin reactions and worsen the condition of the patient.

    The amalgamation of this medication and UVA 320-400 nm prevents the multiplication of various types of cells. Studies show that the prevention of the proliferation of S-180 cells occurred owing to the concentration of psoralen and UVA light.
