About Sumo Cold Drop

This is a combination medication which has Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine as active ingredients. It is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of histamine in the body. This drop is used for relieving symptoms of sinus pressure, sinus congestion, runny nose, itching of the throat and nose. Also, watery eyes, and sneezing due to upper respiratory infections, hay fever and allergies.

Before using this drop, inform your doctor if you have breathing problems, glaucoma, heart problems, liver disease, high blood pressure, seizures, overactive thyroid, stomach problems or urination problems.

This drop is usually recommended only for a short time until your symptoms are cleared. Do not take it for longer than 7 days in a row.

It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals. Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist belonging to the phenethylamine class, which acts as a nasal decongestant. It works by narrowing the swelling of blood vessels in the ear and nose, thereby providing great relief from discomfort.
