About Riten Tablet

Riten Tablet falls under a category of drugs known as tocolytic. It is used in cases where pregnancy might result in premature birth. This medication is available in both oral tablet and injectable solution form.

On using this medication you may experience possible side effects such as increase in systolic pressure, rapid or irregular heartbeat, increased urge to urinate, vision problems, chest pain, drowsiness, dizziness and flushed skin.     How does this medication work?

    Riten Tablet is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist. At the outer membrane of myometrical cell the drug binds to beta-2 adrenergic receptors and accelerates adenyl cyclase , resulting in the decrease of intracellular calcium thereby uterine contractions.
