This tablet belongs to a drug group known as a histamine blocker. It reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach, effectively treating stomach and intestine ulcers. Moreover, the drug also helps against conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome which lead to excessive acid production in the stomach.
