This medicine works by slowing down the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the stomach and intestine muscles.
This medication must not be used in children younger than 6 months old and in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Before using this medication, inform your doctor if you have a history of glaucoma, enlarged prostate, urination problems, high blood pressure, nervous system problems, myasthenia gravis, liver, heart, thyroid, intestinal or kidney problems.
