Hello, Taxim OZ is antibiotic and is safe, bifilac is lactobacillus and is safe. Racecadotril is antisecretory and has mainly intestinal action. But since it has not been studied adequately and passage into breastmilk is not known, it is not recommended to be taken in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

for chronic diarrhoea please rule out tuberculosis if it is associated with weight loss , abdominal pain, lack of appetite. also do a colonoscopy to rule out serious causes. also rule out lactose intolerance . take econorm sachet once a day for 10days. take tab unienzyme twice daily 10 days. (treat amoebiasis(flagyl)and helminthiasis(albendazole)if not treated already) drink ORS in boiled water. wash hands thoroughly before eating. take injection neurobion alt day for 10 days. tab racecadotril 1tablet twice or thrice daily. treat the cause if you find any through investigation as the above mentioned treatment is just supportive management.
