I’m 23 year old. From past 6-7 years i’ve migraine, but from past 3-4 years it is affecting me a lot. I usually get migraine for two months in a year. Months are same every year, in month of june and october and for the whole month, everyday. And then after that month it vanishes completely. I’ve tried preventive medicine also, but after that my migraines are more intense. Right now, I take painkillers like vasograin when I get the attack. What should I do, it is really affecting my mental health.

I am suffering from severe headache and sometimes pain in the neck too, been more than 3 years, have been taking painkillers and vasograin for migraine and myospaz forte for neck pain but nothing work for me, not even flunarin or propananol. Got mri and eeg done, both are normal and still unable to get some relief. Almost every single day I am in pain and the consumption of medicines made my gain weight too. I'm worried and totally helpless.

Hello lybrate-user, the headache is obviously not migraine and that is why it is not responding to vasograin. To me it appears to be chronic tension type headache and will require different set of medicines, but more details about your headache are required before guiding you.
