Telma 40 MG Tablet Side Effect

Problem related to occasion ed since april 2023. Hi I suffered from hepatitis a onset in december 2022. It took 2 months to bring down liver enzymes like sgpt and sgot from 2100 & 1200 to less than 50. Sex life was okay till march 2023. I started taking telma h which is a diuretic in april. I felt occasional ed and low sex drive april onwards. I had sex many a time during this period but occasional ed happened and so my confidence level went down. My hba1c is 6.3 since april. Before april it was normal. Rbc & heamocrit little low than normal range since april. Before that it was normal. Can you advise, what is happening wrong?

Taking medication, such as telma h (which contains telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide), can sometimes lead to side effects. While not everyone experiences the same side effects, some individuals may experience sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction (ed) and a decrease in libido. If you have noticed a correlation between starting telma h in april and the onset of occasional ed and low sex drive, it may be worth discussing these concerns with your healthcare provider. They can evaluate your specific situation, including any underlying health conditions, medication interactions, and potential alternatives to address your blood pressure management while minimizing the impact on sexual function. It's important to remember that ed can have various causes, and it may not be solely attributed to your medication. Psychological factors, stress, anxiety, and lifestyle choices can also contribute to sexual issues. Your healthcare provider will be able to assess your overall health and provide appropriate guidance and recommendations.

Some medications used to treat erectile dysfunction also might help premature ejaculation. These drugs include sildenafil (viagra), tadalafil (cialis, adcirca), avanafil (stendra) and vardenafil. Side effects might include headache, facial flushing and indigestion. Eat a nutritious diet. Get regular exercise. Communicate with sexual partners. Explore new things. Limit alcohol intake. Dear Dr. I am 45 years old suffering from hypertension. I was put on medications about two months ago. I have since been on amlodipine and telma h, atenolol and nifedipine and currently on nebivolol and nifedipine. The frequent changes have been largely due to resulting hypotension and low pulse especially with amlodipine and atenolol. The biggest challenge though is that my bp is very labile that it fluctuates with huge margins within minutes or seconds. Worse still my bp tolerance has drastically reduced such that at 125 systolic pressure I begin experiencing bp effects such as headache, chest pains etc. I an unable to engage in any physical activity at this tolerance.

It seems you think of bp as paramount determinant of health. Measuring bp is a new phenomenon, never previously done. It can be helpful if done as advised, but it causes plenty of difficulties if done without following the recommended methods. Correct management requires measuring it once every month or 3 months when resting comfortably and feeling ok. Measuring bp whenever one wishes too is not healthy. Bp fluctuates in everybody every day. It may be 170 when climbing stairs, or only 80 when sound asleep normal bp is bp between 100-140 when resting comfortably. Anything else you believe about bp is not correct.

Hello- your husband is suffering erectile dysfunction may be due to high blood pressure. Men with hypertension are almost twice as likely to have impaired penile blood flow and erectile dysfunction compared to men with normal blood pressure, increasing their risk of heart disease and death. High blood pressure damages artery walls, causing them to harden and narrow, and reducing blood flow to the penis. Just like physical and mental health, sexual health is also of great importance. Both men and women suffer from sexual problems but they are embarrassed to even discuss it freely, leave alone visit the doctor. Proper medicines along with proper lifestyle habits can solve the problem and help in leading a healthy sexual life. Persons suffering from metabolic disorders must be treated with a different approach. Modern medicines are not effective in sexual weakness if the patient is suffering from any metabolic disease like diabetes, hypertension etc. Only ayurveda has an answer (and specialised medicines) which can boost up sex life of persons suffering from serious metabolic disorders.

1.Use Deep Breathing Deep breathing is another effective way to relieve stress and anxiety. It helps you with physical symptoms such as shallow breathing and rapid heart rate, and it also helps with controlling your thoughts. When you practice deep breathing, you're forced to take your thoughts off of whatever is causing you anxiety and to focus on the breathing technique that you are using. 2.Keep A Journal Journaling can be an effective way to deal with your anxiety and to find relief. It helps you to take all of the things that are rolling around in your head and get them out of your head and down on paper. Sometimes seeing the things that we're worried about on paper can help us to see that they're not as big of a deal as we thought they were. It can also help us to find solutions that we have been overlooking. 3.Hang Out With Friends If you're struggling with anxiety, sometimes the last thing that you want to do is go hang out with your friends. Even if it's an activity that you enjoy with people that you like, the thought of it can be stressful. Your brain already feels overwhelmed with things that you feel you need to figure out, and it can seem like a bad use of time to do something fun. 4. Exercise, Find What Works For You : You might be tired of hearing about how great exercise is for your health. But, the reason you hear about it so much is that there's no way around it. Exercise it's good for both your physical body and for your mind.Getting regular exercise has been proven to help you sleep better at night, clear your head, and boost your mood. It's a great way to use up all that pent-up energy that you have in a way that's going to benefit you in multiple areas of your life.

When bp reading is coming up and down, then can we use tazloc beta 25 tablet pr instead of telma h 40 mg?

It is not good to switch between 2 classes of drugs. Moreover any drug will take a few days to fully have its effect. A dose adjustment of the same drug is better if required. If the drugs have been recently started please keep a daily chart so dose can be modified accordingly. Do reach out with more details.
