Regestrone 5 MG Tablet Side Effect

Hi am 25 years old, my lmp was 04/11/2021 11/12/2021. 16/1/2022, now by today there is no periods and pregnancy test is -ve can I use regestrone and trafolic at a time regestrone tablet 5 mg 2 per day trafolic 1 per day.

Trafolic has no effect on menstruation. Regesterone ccan be used but there are many hormonal drugs for same, but any medicine can be prescribed by the only doctor who has examined you or can examine you so go to such medical practitioner.

I am a 23 year old girl. I have pcod problems and thyroid. I have my thyroid problems under control now as I consume thyronorm 62. 5 mg.in 2020, as I was having yasmin for pcod, I started having gastric issues so my doctor told me to have pan d for 20 days. But on the 18th day I started having white discharge from nipples. He told me to stop pan d and start with cabgolin for 8 weeks (once each week. I had it for 4 weeks and stopped it then. I was having no problem after that till 2021 april, I consulted my gynecologist for hair fall.in 2021 february I stopped all my pcod pills. She told me to get all my hormone levels tested and consult an endocrinologist. I found out that prolactin was a bit high (60) and I took my report to the endocrinologist. He told me to do peg prolactin test which came out to be 110. He told me to do mri (pituitary) but no testing center was agreeing on this so he finally told me to have cabgolin for 8 weeks (twice each week) and then check with my prolactin. Till now I was not having any sort of chest pain. But after that I started with my pcod pills (regestrone 10 mg and normoz) and cabgolin all together which started causing a bit of breast pain. It was getting more so I left my pcod pills and the pain stopped. I continued with cabgolin for 8 weeks and then checked with my prolactin. It was 0.2 (normal. But I started having breast pain a few days before checking my prolactin test and it is still there. The pain is not always there but it's irritating whenever it is there. Please help me. The prolactin level is normal now but I don't know whether this is for some side effects of any pills.

Hii, I got my periods almost after 2 months after taking regestrone medicine. After that the nurse said to take ovral l medicine to regulate the periods from the first day when the menstruation starts. I did the same for three days but I somehow missed one dose so I asked her what to do now. She said that you have to take the ovral l medicine after the period cycle end. So will the 3 doses of ovral l will have side effect? Should I take the medicine after the periods end? If yes what if I missed a dose somehow? Please suggest me.

Don't get frustrated. There are many treatments to make you comfortable. I don't advise you to continue with hormones for long periods, as you are a very young girl. Yes the timing of cycle during which regesterone is taken effects the outcome. And taking regesterone before ovulation is sure to reduce the chances of pregnancy.

The doctor told me to take this medicine tie ঃ but I was spotted and had blood and pain when I walked ঃ.can I take regestrone 5 mg tablets twice a day for two months? Since there was spotting that is improper endometrial tissue formation which is why the doctor has advised you playing progesterone which is a regestrone tablet. but I prefer not to continue at a stretch of 2 months of progesterone but give a break

Hey! firstly if you are married then do a upt and if not then take regestrone 5 mg tablet for 5 days and stop it. If menses strts then on 2nd day lab investigations are to be done serum fsh, s.lh, s.prolactin, thyroid profile, review with reports.
