Cysts can occur in ovary every month. It is part of egg formation, and usually disappears within 1 month. Sometimes, they take 2-6 months to disappear, when an ultrasound may show a cyst. As long as it is less than 5 cm and a clear cyst, there is nothing to worry. The cyst has nothing to do with the pregnancy difficulty, especially since it has disappeared. Evion is simply Vitamin E, and has not effect for or against pregnancy. Since you already have a child, getting pregnant should not be an issue. If you are having difficulty getting pregnant, please see a fertility specialist, who will do a few basic tests and suggest what needs to be done.

Fibrocystic changes are very common and are common cause of breast pain especially cyclical. Also duct ectasia may cause pain. Some times some of the cysts may enlarge causing a lot of pain, which need to be aspirated. Spontaneous resolution is seen in around 20-50 % patients with fibrocystic changes and most of the duct ectasia and this resolution may sometimes be related to pregnancy or menopause. Evening Primrose oil (EPO) capsules contains Gamolenic acid (GLA, which is an essential fatty acid needed to regulate the tissue response to hormones. The dosage required is 240-360 mg of GLA daily (2000-3000 mg EPO. The capsule contains 40 or 80 mg GLA. Thus the no of capsules can range from 4-8 per day taken orally. Few patients (<5%) report nausea, loose motions or headaches. It is to be avoided if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or have a history of epilepsy. You need to continue the primrose oil for atleast 2-3 months to see any improvement in symptoms. If symptoms improve then you can halve the dose of primrose oil and continue for further 3 months. Some people are able to stop the capsules altogether without return of problem. Vitamin E 800 to 1200 I.U. (2-3 capsules) Daily also has been shown to work in cyclical mastalgia. The other treatment options are NSAIDS like Combiflam or enzoflam which provide symptomatic relief till the pain settles spontaneously and Antiandrogens like Danazole and anti estrogens i.e. SERM’s like Tamoxifen (?Efficacy of ormeloxifen i.e. Novex. The last 2 are quite effective but come with a lot of side effects. You may try using higher dose of evening primrose oil or Vit E before trying SERM. I have not used ormeloxifen 30 mg /wk in any Patient.

Hi, Post partum (post delivery) hairfall is a normal phenomenon. You also feel its more than what it actually is. This is because, during the 9 months of pregnancy period, you will not loose much hair due to the hormonal changes. All these follicles that were supposed to shed during the pregnancy will also start to shed. Also, Lactation is a stressful phase which causes increased hair loss. So, do not panic. You can take multivitamin supplements during this time and also use hair growth serums that will help with the the hair growth.

Hello, During pregnancy, pains do occur because of electrolyte imbalance. For this, you can take vitamin E capsule - Evion/ 1 cap. daily once for 3 months and your wife will definitely get amelioration. Ask her to take 10-12 glasses of water in a day as dehydration can also be one of the cause for pain or cramps. Also, more intake of fruits will increase her vitamins as well as water content in the body naturally! (except papaya which is not recommended during pregnancy!) Please do give your feedback about her condition after this. Thanks.
