I understand your concerns about medication safety, especially when taking multiple medications. Here's some general information about the medications you mentioned: Fluanxol (Flupentixol): This is an antipsychotic medication often used for schizophrenia or other similar conditions. It can also be used in lower doses for depression. Spenzo (Etizolam): This is a medication that is used for anxiety. It belongs to a class of drugs similar to benzodiazepines and has sedative and muscle-relaxant effects. Qutipin (Quetiapine): This is an antipsychotic medication often used to treat bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and as an add-on treatment for depression. Venlor XR (Venlafaxine): This is an antidepressant that belongs to the class of serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). Clonotril (Clonazepam): This is a benzodiazepine used for anxiety and seizure disorders. Regarding your specific questions: a) Banned Status: The status of medications can vary by country and region. Fluanxol and Spenzo are not universally banned but may have restrictions in certain regions. It's important to check the regulations and guidelines in your specific location. b) Combining Medications: Taking multiple medications can increase the risk of side effects and drug interactions. It is essential to follow the advice of a healthcare professional who is familiar with your medical history and the specific medications you are taking. They can provide guidance on whether these medications can be taken together, appropriate dosages, and monitoring for side effects or interactions. Remember, it's crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication regimen, especially when dealing with complex treatments involving multiple drugs. They can give you the most accurate and personalized advice based on your health needs and current medical condition.

For your anxiety, you have to continue the medicines for atleast 3 months. Otherwise if you stop it suddenly, your anxiety may recur. If you are facing any side effects with medicines, you should consult your psychiatrist. The medicines are not likely to cause pain in legs, it is better if you consult your general physician for evaluating that.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're experiencing these difficulties with your heartbeats and the impact they're having on your sleep and overall mental health. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious and concerned about your health, particularly given your history of health anxiety and ocd. Based on what you've shared, it seems like there are several factors contributing to your current state of distress. It's positive to hear that you've already sought medical attention and had tests done to rule out any significant cardiac issues. However, it's important to keep in mind that anxiety and stress can exacerbate physical symptoms, such as ectopic heartbeats, and impact your overall well-being. Considering your specific concerns and the impact on your daily life, I would strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional, such as a counseling psychologist. A psychologist can help you address the underlying causes of your anxiety, depression, and ocd, and develop strategies to manage your health anxiety more effectively. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (cbt) is an evidence-based approach that is often used to treat health anxiety and ocd. It focuses on helping you identify and challenge negative thought patterns, manage anxiety symptoms, and develop healthier coping strategies. Additionally, a psychologist can provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore and process your concerns about your husband and any suppressed emotions you may have. In the meantime, it's important to prioritize self-care and find healthy ways to manage your anxiety. Engaging in relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing exercises or mindfulness meditation, can help reduce your overall anxiety levels. It may also be beneficial to establish a routine and engage in activities that bring you joy and help distract your mind from worries. Please feel free to contact me in case you feel I can be of any help.

Now that my ocd is increasing I thought of having serta 25. But it's not a good feeling after having it. But I have restyl 0.25 or clonotril 0.25 as and when required. Any other alternative medication that I can have for ocd and anxiety?

Hi please do not change dosage or stop medicines at will. If you are uncomfortable and feeling any side effects consult your psychiatrist immediately and apprise him of your situation. He will change the medicine or dosage. Take therapy along with medicines. Consistent therapy along with medicines is needed to help you cope with ocd symptoms. Medicines only help control symptoms temporarily, while therapy gives more sustainable results. Take therapy regularly and apply what you learn in therapy sessions in your life practically.

Hi. Anxiety can cause weight loss in the long run. It might also be a side-effect of the medicine. Muscle building exercises can help you. It is also relaxing and can relieve anxiety. For your behavior, we can address your issues. However, labeling it as childish is something i'd refrain from. While some behavior patterns are not very helpful and can be changed, remember that we all have an inner child within us, and that might not necessarily be a flaw. Do let me know if you would like to talk further.

If you feel like your depression or anxiety or for whatever reason it was started, is no longer an issue you can certainly stop it. However, you may need guidance from your psychiatrist regarding how to do so to avoid withdrawal which some patients face. A gradual taper down in the dosage is recommended. If you need to consult us for a second opinion kindly do so with the help and guidance of the Lybrate staff.

It is unlikely due to nexito or clonazepam, but anxiety itself causes frequent urination which nexito does not control, there are better alternatives which act on anxiety as well as control the excessive urination. Consult an astute psychiatrist online or in person for the same. Good luck.
