Fungal infections in the groin and buttocks are commonly referred to as ringworm, jock itch or tinea cruris. They occur when certain types of fungi, such as dermatophytes, grow and multiply in warm and moist areas of the body, like the groin. Symptoms of a fungal infection in the groin may include: red, itchy rash: the affected area often becomes red, itchy, and inflamed. The rash may have well-defined edges and small, raised blisters or scales. Itching and burning: the rash can cause intense itching and a burning sensation, which can be uncomfortable. Peeling or cracking skin: the skin in the groin area may become dry, flaky, or start to peel. Odor: fungal infections can sometimes cause an unpleasant odor. If the symptoms persist or worsen despite self-care measures, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist. They can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include prescription-strength antifungal medications.

Always gargle your mouth after usage of pump or inhaler gargling removes the drug deposition on tongue and reduces risk of fungal infection. Candida mouthpaint for a week and oral fluconazole once a week for 4 weeks can help treat fungal infection. Instead of dry powder inhaler, metered dose inhaler which has the mist instead of powder as the drug is there. Which might reduce the drug deposition in tongue but we can't speculate whether it doesn't. There is no cure to copd and asthma. You can control asthma you can control copd symptoms.

I understand your concern about your mother's lack of improvement and the side effects of the candid mouth paint. However, I am not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice. It's important to seek guidance from your mother's doctor in this situation. They can assess her condition, understand the potential cause of the lack of improvement and the reaction to the paint, and make any necessary adjustments to her treatment plan. Here are some reasons why it's crucial to consult her doctor: underlying cause: there might be a different or additional cause for the infection that needs to be addressed. Medication interaction: some medications can interact with fluconazole, potentially affecting its effectiveness. Adjustment of dosages: the current dosage of fluconazole might need to be adjusted for better response. Alternative medication: if the candid mouth paint is causing side effects, the doctor might suggest alternative solutions for treating the oral thrush. Monitoring potential complications: certain fungal infections can have serious complications, especially in individuals with weakened immune systems like senior citizens. Therefore, please do not discontinue the candid mouth paint or any other medication without consulting your mother's doctor. Stopping medication prematurely can negatively impact her treatment and prolong the infection. Here's what you can do: schedule an appointment with your mother's doctor as soon as possible. Provide a detailed account of her symptoms, including the lack of improvement and the side effects of the candid mouth paint. Bring all the medications she's taking to the appointment. Ask any questions or concerns you might have about her treatment. Remember, your mother's doctor is the best resource for managing her fungal infection and ensuring her well-being. I hope this information helps! please prioritize seeking professional medical advice for your mother's condition.

I have fungal infection around my genitals (between scrotum and legs) since an year. For almost first 4-5 months, I ignored it considering in could be something temporary due to scratching by nails. I started treatment and from different doctor and many od them suggested itraconazole 100 mg per day, and creams like ketoconazole. It caused temporary relief but it re-appeared after stopping medicine. Then I started my treatment with a reputed dermatologist. He suggested me itraconazole 100 mg once daily, histafree 120 mg twice daily, applying candid dusting powder in morning and a mixture of triben and nadibact cream at night with candid dusting powder. This treatment continued for 2 months and the condition improved, but it still kept coming back as I stopped medicine, even after visiting doctor again, he still kept the same treatment routine. With that now, it has almost been 2 months again, and the infection hasn't re-appeared. How much time will I need to continue with this treatment to bet totally cured? How can I know about the right time to stop medication? Do I need to see another doctor?

My tongue is getting white patches and bad smell coming out. Please suggest me what should I do.
While I understand your concern about the white patches on your tongue and bad breath, I cannot diagnose medical conditions or provide specific medical advice. Experiencing these symptoms might require consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. However, I can offer some general information and suggestions that might be helpful: possible causes of white patches on the tongue and bad breath: oral thrush: this fungal infection, caused by candida albicans, can cause white patches on the tongue and sometimes other areas of the mouth. It often affects individuals with weakened immune systems, who take antibiotics, or have uncontrolled diabetes. Leukoplakia: this precancerous condition appears as white patches on the tongue or other areas of the mouth. While typically harmless, it requires monitoring by a doctor or dentist. Lichen planus: this autoimmune skin condition can also affect the mouth, causing white patches, ulcers, and other symptoms. Poor oral hygiene: brushing and flossing teeth regularly are crucial for maintaining good oral health and preventing bad breath. Dietary factors: certain foods and beverages, like onions, garlic, and coffee, can contribute to bad breath. Smoking: smoking and tobacco use can significantly worsen bad breath and oral health. Tips for managing the symptoms: maintain good oral hygiene: brush your teeth twice daily and floss once a day. Consider using a tongue scraper to remove bacteria and debris from the surface of your tongue. Stay hydrated: drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your mouth moist and help flush out bacteria. Avoid irritating foods and beverages: minimize your intake of foods and drinks known to contribute to bad breath, like onions, garlic, coffee, and alcohol. Quit smoking: if you smoke, quitting is one of the best things you can do for your overall health and oral hygiene. Recommendations: consult a doctor or dentist: they can examine your tongue and mouth, diagnose the underlying cause of your symptoms, and recommend appropriate treatment. Practice good oral hygiene habits: following proper brushing, flossing, and tongue cleaning practices is essential for maintaining good oral health and preventing future problems. Maintain a healthy lifestyle: eating a balanced diet, getting regular exercise, and managing stress can all contribute to good oral health and overall well-being. Remember, seeking professional medical advice is crucial for understanding the cause of your white patches and bad breath, receiving proper treatment, and maintaining good oral health. Don't hesitate to schedule consultations with relevant healthcare professionals to address your concerns and improve your well-being. I hope this information is helpful and encourages you to prioritize your health by seeking professional assistance.

It can be candida vaginitis. In simpler words to say, it can be fungal infection of vagina and cervix. You need to maintain hygiene as much as you can. Wash with water every time you urinate. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply coconut oil frequently after washing with mild soap. Eat healthy to maintain immunity. Change undergarments daily and wash them properly.
