This is a broad spectrum antifungal medicated powder. It used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. Also, it relieves symptoms such as burning, itching, cracking of the skin and discomfort caused by these infections. This medication used to treat yeast and fungal infections of the vagina and the skin.

It is used for treating oral thrush, ringworm, player’s foot, jock itch, etc. This medication limits the production of ergosterol. It is an important component of the fungal cell membrane. Disruption in its production leads to the development of holes in the membrane. kills the bacteria by leaking cell component, thus resulting in the death of the bacteria.
