Without examination, I can not say whether it is typhoid or not. But typhoid seems less likely based on your history. Other causes of igm positivity:
cross-reactivity with other bacteria: igm antibodies can sometimes cross-react with other bacterial infections, leading to a false positive result.
Previous exposure or vaccination: if a person has been previously vaccinated against typhoid fever or has had a past infection, they may still have detectable igm antibodies in their blood.
Non-typhoidal salmonella infection: other types of salmonella bacteria can cause infections that may lead to the production of igm antibodies.
Other infections: certain viral infections, such as dengue fever, can also lead to the production of igm antibodies that may cross-react with typhoid fever tests.
Lab error: false positive results can sometimes occur due to errors in the laboratory testing process.

One of the most common causes of a continuous low-grade fever is respiratory infections like cold or the flu. In such cases body naturally elevates its temperature to combat off the infection causing agents (bacteria or viruses). Cold or the flu are caused by viruses and with cold, fever lasts for a few days.

Use of antibiotics is not recommended especially in case of children,,this is very much curable by proper homoeopathic treatment,,which is safe and without any complications
I read your message and apart from taking symptomatic treatment we have to stop certain ongoing medication and I will suggest you to take a second local paediatrician opinion and also get the child investigated.
