I appreciate your detailed description of the evolving skin condition following a mosquito bite. Considering the complexity of skin issues, it's vital to explore various diagnostic possibilities for a comprehensive understanding. 1. Tinea fungal infection (as recently diagnosed): - description: fungal infections, specifically tinea, often manifest with persistent itching and skin alterations caused by dermatophytes. - treatment: eberconazole, an antifungal agent, is a common prescription; however, responses may differ among individuals. 2. Herpes zoster (initially suggested by a physician): - description: herpes zoster, caused by the varicella-zoster virus, typically presents with painful blisters and may follow nerve pathways. - treatment: antiviral medications are standard, though steroid use can complicate the course and necessitate cautious management. Given the lingering symptoms, adverse reactions to amorolfine cream, and potential exacerbation of the infection, reevaluation of the diagnosis and treatment plan is imperative. Promptly communicate your concerns to your healthcare provider for a more nuanced approach. They may explore alternative antifungal medications or conduct additional tests to ensure precise diagnosis and effective management. In the interim, maintaining proper hygiene, ensuring the affected area remains clean and dry, and refraining from scratching are general measures that can contribute to overall skin health. Always adhere to your healthcare provider's guidance for the most tailored and efficacious management of your specific skin condition.

You need to complete course as prescribed by your dermatologist. Donot stop tablets in between as it might cause fungal resistance.

U can try this wash the affected skin two to three times a day. Keep the affected area dry. Avoid excess affected skin irritation by wearing 100% cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Wash your workout clothes, underwear, socks, and towels after each use. Keep your affected area, inner thighs, and buttocks clean and dry, especially after you exercise and shower. After showering or bathing, dry the irritated affected area by gently patting it with a towel. Be sure to dry your skin thoroughly. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in two cups of warm water. Wash the infected area with this solution and allow it to dry on its own. Another option is to apply a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and coconut oil on the affected skin. Hello Mr. lybrate-user if your sister is suffering from eczema or sebborheic dermatitits, sebopsoriasis, a type of eczema in the ear area it is better to consult with a dermatologist as they would provide you the best possible solution. Amrolfine sir is an antifungal agent and unless you have a secondary fungal infection, I do not understand why you would want to use for the ear problem. If you have further doubts, kindly call us on mobile for online consultation. Hope this helps. Thank you.

In fungal infection (tinea) amorolfine and luliconazole both are effective but luliconazole is somewhat better .use twice daily for 4 to 6 wks. Keep the area dry and clean. If more area is involved then you wil also need oral antifungal like capsule itraconazole (after proper examination and diagnosis. Thanks.
