Pave D Tablet

Manufacturer: Biomax Biotechnics Pvt Ltd

Prescription vs.OTC: Prescription by Doctor required

Pave D Tablet, a part of the dopamine antagonists group of drugs, prevents the tendency of vomiting and nausea in people suffering from gastrointestinal problems and also those who take certain medicines for Parkinson’s disease. The medicine tightens the muscles near the entrance of the stomach and relaxes the ones present at the exit. This action helps to speed up the passing of the food that you intake - from your stomach to your intestine, reducing the feeling of nausea and sickness, also preventing vomiting. It can also block, or reduce stimulation in the ‘vomiting centre’ of your brain, which will eventually reduce the feeling of nausea and vomiting.

Pave D Tablet is a part of the drug group known as dopamine antagonists. It can be used for treating the slow passage of food in your gastrointestinal tract, generally associated with gastritis or diabetes. For people suffering from this condition, Pave D Tablet can treat the symptoms of vomiting, nausea, bloating and feeling full. Apart from that, it can also prevent vomiting and nausea that is associated with Parkinson’s disease. The medication works by emptying your stomach quickly, reducing nausea. It also reduces or blocks stimulation in the part of the brain called the ‘vomiting centre’. The nerve messages coming from your gut will be suppressed and the feeling of nausea and vomiting is prevented. It is available in tablet or suspension form and has to be taken orally.

The usual dose of Pave D Tablet is 10 mg, which is generally taken 15-30 minutes prior to your meals. The maximum dose that is recommended for adults is 30 mg. The dose that would suit your body depends on your body weight, other medicines that you are currently taking and your health condition. Ensure that you take Pave D Tablet only in that amount as instructed by the doctor. In case you miss a dose, you can take it later. However, do not take two doses together to make up for the previous one that has been missed. The feeling of romance is best stimulated in the context of a relationship. Maybe you could do with some marriage preparation classes. Yes, your relationships at home, especially with your parents have a great impact in yoru choice of partners and how well or badly you will relate to them. Unfortunately that does not sound too good as to how it went so far. You could do with some help even in that area. Just because of that you should not avoid marriage unless it is really irreversible. If (I know that this is a big 'IF") you find the right person soon, it could set you up for life happily. The negative influences you have experienced in your family of origin will have to be worked at so that it does not impinge on a good outcome. Without being so discouraged see if you can find the right guy. That is the key. A understanding, tolerance, respectful, and caring man will make a huge difference to any prospective girl. So keep the search and clean up your past to pave a smooth path to a happy marital relationship.

Hello lybrate-user, As you are in a stage of life in which nutrition diet & physical activity should go hand in hand parallel. If you are a non-veg you can easily take lean chicken, fish and eggs, if you are a vegetarian, than you can go for not only milk and milk products but also soy products (like soy beans, soy milk, soy chaap). Pulses, fruits and water intake is a must for. Many a times, our hectic college schedule, we skip our fruit meals and even a whole meal. I suggest you not to skip it, skipping an evening snack for fruit meal is more worthwhile. May be today it appears unnecessary but for the long run in life it is a must, because the way you will build-up your body today will pave you way for tomorrow. For exercises go for yogas (best for height increase are ushtra-asana, chakra-asana, dhanur-asana, paschimatta-asana and very familiar 'surya-namaskar'). Stretching and gymnastics, cycling, swimming all are helpful. At this age taking supplements is not a must, try natural things, seasonal fruits and vegetables. All the best for your future. Thank you. Have a nice day!

Diabetes Related Diseases You Should Know

Diabetes is an acute ailment that can badly affect your heart, eyes, nerves, kidneys and feet. Therefore, it is important to understand how these organs and components are connected and how diabetes affects them. This will help you to follow your treatment procedure more thoroughly and improve your health condition more effectively.

Beginning of Health Ailments from Diabetes-

When diabetes in a person is not properly regulated and maintained, the blood sugar levels rise up and this syndrome is called 'hyperglycaemia' or high blood sugar. The way sugar particles stick to each other when they are left uncovered for some time, blood vessels within human body also get stuck with sugar in the blood and make it difficult for blood circulation. Over time, this causes a severe damage to blood vessels connected to kidneys, heart, lungs, eyes and nerves.

Diabetes affecting all the major parts of the body-

Having uncontrolled blood sugar for a prolonged period of time can damage the tiny vessels around the eye causing vision troubles and eventual blindness. High levels of blood sugar in the blood vessels that supplies oxygen to the brain, and heart can develop a fat deposit around them leading to stroke and heart attack. Nerves in the human body serve the function of messengers that carry impulses from different body parts to the brain and vice versa. Having high blood sugar levels can damage blood vessels that carry oxygen and blood to all parts of the body. With the passage of time, nerves can get choked, and they may stop sending pain impulses to the brain.

Diabetes or high blood sugar levels can be detrimental for your feet as well. It mostly harms feet in two possible ways- firstly, it can damage the nerves and their functionality which, in turn would stand in the way of feeling pain as well as other problems occurring in your feet.

Secondly, diabetes leads to poor blood circulation, which makes it nearly impossible for sores and infection around the feet to heal. Once the healing process stops, it can even pave the way for amputation.

Lastly, diabetes is equally detrimental for kidneys, which are the filters of the human body. Kidneys are filled with miniature blood vessels, and high blood sugar can lead to clogged vessels, which disturb blood circulation. Once the kidney does not get ample oxygen and blood, lesser amounts of fluids are taken off the body that may subsequently lead to kidney failure.

Therefore, it is time to build awareness and lead a healthier lifestyle to keep diabetes under control, and a good physician will be able to guide you better on this. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Peripheral Neuropathy - Ways To Control It!

The sensation of pain and numbness are quite common in patients suffering from high blood sugar. If you are suffering from nerve damage from high blood sugar, chances are you have diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The discomfort can affect your mood and overall quality of life. But with some easy to follow steps can help you keep peripheral neuropathy under control.

  1. Keep your blood sugar levels under control: Your first task is to manage your blood sugar levels under control and with the passage of time it will damage the peripheral nerves and pave the way for diabetic neuropathy. If you can keep your blood sugar levels within a healthy range, you will be able to reduce the risk of nerve damage by about 60 percent. You should talk to your doctor first since a rapid drop in the blood sugar levels can prove to be even worse.
  2. Get the right level of Vitamin D: Your skin functions by producing Vitamin D in response to sunlight and it is immensely helpful in shielding against nerve pain. It has been found people who have lower levels of this nutrient are more likely to suffer from more pain. In case it is hard to get the recommended daily intake from food only, you will have to take supplement pills.
  3. Keep away from smoking: We all know that smoking causes the blood vessels to constrict which hampers circulation. If you don’t quit smoking, your peripheral nerves may not be able to nutrient-rich blood which would make pain worse.
  4. Take a warm bath: Warm water is not just relaxing, it can also improve circulation all through the body. It can provide instant relief. But it is worthy of mention here that since diabetic neuropathy leads to loss of sensation, you should ensure that the water isn’t too hot before you jump in.
  5. Seek resort to over the counter medications: There is a host of painkillers available for easing mild to moderate ache stemming from diabetic neuropathy. These include ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen and acetaminophen. But before taking any of these pills, you should consult with an expert who can choose the right medicine for you.
  6. Get up and move: Exercise can combat pain in a variety of ways. It helps in keeping blood sugar levels under control which, in turn, can hinder nerve damage. Workout increases blood flow to the extremities while also uplifting your mood. It will help you get rid of stress so that you can better deal with the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. In a study conducted by the University of Kansas, it was found that people who exercise regularly didn’t face any trouble in doing daily activities.
  7. Consider carpal tunnel surgery: When the patient is suffering from localized peripheral nerve compression that affects the hands, carpal tunnel surgery can be considered as a last resort to achieve pain relief, reduced incidence of ulceration, increased range of movement and balance, preservation of limbs and improved quality of life.

With these few tips, you will be able to manage the peripheral neuropathy better. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Night Farts - Is There A Way To Control Them?

Night Farts - Is There A Way To Control Them?

Nature calls are to be attended to, no doubt, but when it is a fart, most feel embarrassed. On an average, humans fart fourteen times a day which they generally either control or excuse themselves, but helpless when the farts come out at night.

People may seek medications to control farts, but the reality is that these medications do not work. Many people also consider using butt strips which are said to open up the anal canal, but they are extremely dangerous as they can pave the way for anal inflammation and may lead to severe health complications.

What causes night farts?
During sleep, the body relaxes entirely, and it lets go of all its tensions, and one of the ways it does this is by releasing farts. The reason behind regular farts is consumption of air while eating foods. This air comprises of different types of gases, which reacts with the other gases during the process of chemical breakdown and digestion. Since the gases cannot rest inside the body, they come out in the form of farts. People tend to fart while asleep because all the muscles relax during sleep and the pubococcygeus muscle is no exception to this. Though it is a common health problem and can create a lot of issues in the personal life.

How to get rid of excessive farting during the night?

  1. DietDiet plays a critical part in determining how much gas is formed inside our bellies. There are some foods which are known for causing more gas than others including prunes, peas, broccoli, onions, garlic, bananas, leafy vegetables like cabbages, and various fried foods. All of these foods contain high levels of fibre content, which causes flatulence levels to skyrocket. If you are lactose intolerant, then dairy products are bound to cause more gas in your tummy which is expelled at night. Eating right before going to the bed leads to the excessive stimulation of the digestive system which causes the gas to come out through the rear end. You should try to quit eating any solid foods at least four hours before sleep.
  2. Do not hold your fart: Another important tip to reduce night farts is to fart through the day. Even though this may sound absurd, many people tend to hold their farts because of their shame without understanding that it may lead to health issues.
  3. Do not sleep on your stomach: If you are already suffering from night farts, you should avoid sleeping on your belly. This position would invariably press the gases and compel them to come out.
  4. Plenty of water helps: It may sound like a no-brainer, but drinking an adequate amount of water throughout the day will not just eliminate the bacteria, but also reduce the problem of night farts by settling down the gases.

Farts, though embarrassing, are common. Following the tips mentioned can help you get rid of them. If you can’t, don’t bother. Just let go!

Impact Of Modern Day Gadgets On Kids!

Impact Of Modern Day Gadgets On Kids!

Childhood memories are always special, we often get nostalgic reminiscing about them. When we were kids there was a range of outdoor activities, games and creative things to do, something to look forward and run around. However, the definition of modern childhood has undergone a sea change.

If you have a child in your home, you will be acutely aware of the gadget addiction phenomenon. Be it a mobile, iPad, television or gaming console, children today are almost inseparable from their gadgets. From a 2-year-old baby to 12-year-old teenagers, all can be found glued to their favorite gadgets, due to which physical activity and outdoor games have ceased to exist in their lives.

Further, this addiction to modern day gadgets is triggering a negative impact on their health. A number of studies indicate that the incidence of obesity, depression, and even diabetes (juvenile diabetes) amongst children and teenagers is on a mercurial rise, because of such a lifestyle.

But who is to be blamed for this?

It is common knowledge today, that parents across that globe try to deliver the best of everything to their kids, but sometimes we forget that more than things and luxury, our kids need our time.

Here are some effective measures to curb the gadget menace

  • Communicate: As a modern working parent, life is extremely hectic. However, make sure you spend some quality time with your child daily. Talk to your child about different things and understand what is going in their daily life.

  • Understand your child: Communication paves the way for better understanding, but as a parent, you have to make an effort to understand your child, as each child is unique and so are their needs.

  • Educate yourself: Make sure you are fully aware of what is going on with your child and how he or she is doing throughout the day in different areas, be it school or other activities. Talk to the other parents, and know what your children's peer group are doing.

  • Engage them: Take them to parks, indulge in fun outdoor and physical activities. When your child refuses to eat or do a particular work, never bribe them with a mobile phone or a laptop. Instead, promise them a weekend picnic or a day out.

  • Reduce internet time: Make sure children below 8 years have either no access or reduced access to the Internet. In fact, children below 10 years should not be allowed to use mobile phones, but that is practically not possible in today’s time, so parents should make an effort to control that and make sure that their children are not spending unnecessary time on internet as not only it is wasting their precious time, but also affects their mental health too.

Lastly, do not let your child forget that there is more to life than video games and TV. Love them but don’t give in to your child’s unrealistic demands.
