About Muout Plus 8.5Gm Powder

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a polyether compound with many applications from industrial manufacturing to medicine. This medication is used to treat occasional constipation.

This medication works by holding water in the stool to soften the stool and increases the number of bowel movements. It is known as an osmotic-type laxative. This medication is also available without a prescription.

If you are taking this medication for self-treatment, it is important to read the manufacturer's package instructions carefully so you know when to consult your doctor or pharmacist. This medication is usually taken by the oral route of administration, once daily.

There are no serious side effects are there for this medication but nausea, abdominal cramping, or gas may occur. Inform your doctor right away if you have an excessive number of bowel movements, persistent diarrhoea, severe or persistent stomach/ abdominal pain, bloody shots, or rectal bleeding while using this medication.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
