This medication belongs to a category of chemical compounds called retinoid. It helps in the treatment of cystic acne or nodular acne that has before not responded to any other kinds of treatment. This capsule lowers the production of facial oil and prevents hardening of the skin.

On using Isotroin you may experience the following side effects: drying of skin around the lips and mouth, bleeding from the nose, stomach upset, hair loss.
