Azithral Xl 200 MG Liquid
Azithral Xl 200 MG Liquid is a type of macrolide antibiotic which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. These infections may be related to the respiratory system such as bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, skin infections like rosacea and acne, eye infections, various dental infections, ear infections and sexually transmitted diseases.
Azithral Xl 200 MG Liquid works either by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria or by killing the infection causing bacteria. There are certain proteins which are responsible for the survival of these bacteria. This medicine inhibits synthesis and production of such proteins.
The tolerance of this in our body as well as its absorption is way better than that of other antibiotics like erythromycin. Other benefits of this medicine include prevention and inhibition of burn-related infections, scarlet fever or bone-related infections.
Azithral Xl 200 MG Liquid is mainly prescribed to those individuals who have intolerance to penicillin antibiotics. There are certain side effects associated with its consumption including diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, feeling sick, loss of appetite, indigestion, bloating etc.

Community Acquired Pneumonia
Ear Infection (Otitis Media)
How long is the duration of effect?The effect of this drug lasts for an average duration of 2 to 4 days.
What is the onset of action?The effect can be observed within 2 to 3 hours of dose administration.

It is not recommended for use by pregnant women unless extremely necessary. Consult your doctor to weigh the risks and benefits of taking it.
Is it habit forming?No habit forming tendency has been reported.

It is not recommended for the breastfeeding mothers unless extremely necessary. Close monitoring of the infant will be required if taking it at all.
