It looks like acute viral hepatitis. Take rest, watch for complications if any due to hepatic failure, otherwise it is self limiting disease. Repeat tests after a week and see the evolution of disease. So long as child is active, has good appetite, nothing to worry. If some thing goes wrong visit to paediatrician is must. Improvement in itching will suggest lessening of oedema of liver.

I'm slim guy. I'm unable to weight gain. I have tried 2,3 week by eating much, but no results. Then I went gym +more diet, it resulted gaining weight 12 kg in 3 month. Later I skipped gym and diet plan. 1 year later I checked my weight and saw that I have loosed 10 kg. Then after I ate much without gym, but no result. Recently I checked my blood .the reports say I have more eosinophil Less 25 oh vitamin d (total) Less Folate More red cell distribution width More rbc And other reports are ok. Is this report shows any prevention on gaining weight? Or what to be checked? Or what to do for gaining weight?

Dear Lybrateuser, -For weight gain you have to develop your muscles by having a well balanced diet with more of protein rich foods & regular exercises including moderate weight lifting exercises - have fruits & vegetables for folate deficiency, also whole grains, protein foods like eggs, non veg (if you have), milk & milk products like cheese, paneer, yogurt, butter milk, nuts, sprouts, legumes - have protein snacks in between meals like yogurt, paneer, milk shake, butter milk, non veg sandwich - drink 8-10 glasses of water or even more depending on your exercise schedule & intensity - for vit D try to be in sunshine for 10-15 min & have foods like eggs, milk & other dairy products - gain in muscle mass is a combination of diet & exercise & not only diet as it will only increase fats in the body.

Hello dear High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines . for uric acid avoid protein diet, you can take tab. zyloric 100 mg once a day. for liver take tab. livcare .

You can start with a healthy and balanced diet. Read about healthy lifestyle and adapt the good habits. Take calcium / vitamin D3 suppliments for some weeks as suggested by your doctor. Start exercising everyday (begin with simple walking for 20-30 mins ). Do some yoga and pranayam which can rejuvenate your whole body and mind. You can take Homeopathy if you still have those complaints. You can contact me for further details.

Please consult a cardiologist as your cholesterol is deranged and you need further management and treatment for the same and also a baseline cardiac evaluation with tests. Also your hba1c if it is 7.5 then you need endocrinologist consult as well for diabetes.
