  • लैप्रोस्कोपिक कोलेसिस्टेक्टोमी: यह पित्त पथरी के लिए सबसे आम सर्जरी है। सर्जन छोटे चीरों के माध्यम से काम करता है। वे आपके पेट में एक छोटे से कट के माध्यम से लैप्रोस्कोप के रूप में जानी जाने वाली एक संकीर्ण ट्यूब को पास करते हैं। ट्यूब में एक छोटा प्रकाश और एक कैमरा होता है। सर्जन विशेष उपकरणों का उपयोग करके एक और छोटे चीरे के माध्यम से रोगी का पित्ताशय निकाल देगा। रोगी आमतौर पर उसी दिन घर जा सकता है।
  • ओपन कोलेसिस्टेक्टोमी: पित्ताशय की थैली को हटाने के लिए डॉक्टर आपके पेट में बड़े चीरे लगाते हैं। रोगी का। रोगी कुछ दिनों के बाद अस्पताल में रहेगा। यदि आपको रक्तस्राव विकार है तो रोगी को ओपन सर्जरी की आवश्यकता हो सकती है। यदि किसी को पित्ताशय की गंभीर बीमारी है, बहुत अधिक वजन है, या गर्भावस्था के अंतिम तिमाही में हैं, तो रोगी को भी इसकी आवश्यकता हो सकती है
