About Pregaba-M 75 Capsule

Pregaba-M 75 Capsule is a combination of a coenzyme form of Vitamin B12 along with GABA analog. It circulates through the bloodstream and is used to treat Peripheral neuropathy. In addition to the Vitamin B12 structure, it has an additional methyl containing metal-alkyl group.

It is one of the most important nutrients required in the human body. A lack of this vitamin can cause severe and permanent neurological damage. The medicine also treats Pernicious anaemia with weakness, numbness, tingling of fingers, etc.

This medicine is considered to be the first-line of treatment for neurotic pain, shingles, seizures and fibromyalgia. It is used for the treatment of diabetic nerve pain, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, restless leg syndrome and generalised anxiety disorder.

It plays a key role in the functioning of the Brain and Nervous system and the formation of the Red Blood Cells. Also, it is responsible for the protection and regeneration of Neurons. This medicine also fights against the degenerative cell condition called Multiple sclerosis. It acts as a stress reliever for the body and mind.

It also binds to the voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This causes a reduced release of neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, substance P thus slowing down nerve signals.

        It is not safe to drink alcohol while taking Pregaba M 75 as it is likely to increase the drowsiness and calmness in a person. Patients may feel even sleepier if both of them are taken together. This can also cause several harmful effects on the patients.

      • Interaction with Medicine

        Pregaba-M 75 Capsule shows severe side effects on reaction with some drugs. Drugs of Cholchicine like Nuforce, Cholchicindon, Goutnil, etc, Amphetamine like Evekeo, Captopril like Aceten, Angiopril react severely with Pregaba M 75 and cause acute problems in patients. Medicines that have shown to react moderately include Alogliptin (Nesina), Metformin (Exermet, Gluformin, Gluconorm, etc ) Vitamin C intakes ( Mankind Vitamin C, Becosules etc. )
