About Aerodil Expectorant

This is a drug is a combination of two medicine and is used for the treatment of cough with mucus. It clears the respiratory tract and breaks up phlegm. It aids in the release of surfactant which in turn prevents the mucus from sticking to the bronchial wall. It also shields one from various irritating agents and infections.

Dosage of this drug for adults may vary from 1-4 tablets a day or as directed by the physician. For children, it is more feasible to administer the syrup depending on the age and intensity of the infection. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should take this medicine after consulting the doctor.
