It is better to give after feed in this age, though nothing to worry, it can be given anytime before feed as well as after feed.

Hello, lidocaine is classified as a category B drug, so safe to be used in pregnancy and lactation. In your case, it is just a topical use (cream), so the absorption into the body systemically and its secretion in breast milk is very less and would not pose any such risk for the infant during breast feeding.

It is normal possetting seen in all infants and you need to burp properly and put the babe on right side a after feed.
