Do Digital BP monitoring equipment gives same and reliable reading as manual mercury one? I have OMRON HEM7120 model, which I calibrated with apollo hospital also. I am taking olmezest20. Your BP is normal, the exact numbers are usually more in hospital due to anxiety. Your machine is ok too.

It's better you go for mercury based sphygmomanometer. They are accurate. Consult online to know how to use. It’s very easy.

I use omron hem 7121j machine for bp reading. I have monitored bp for month. It came in range 115/75 to 126/90 or 127/95. I was taking metosartan 50 tablet for 25 days. After taking medicine my bp reading still came in between above mentioned range. After few days I had left shoulder pain so I went to doc and when I check bp in clinic it was 152/110, 158/97. Why is there sudden change in bp.

Life style modification along with medication is need of the hour ,avoid minimal sugar ,salt, maida,fried, better to include two third fresh seasonal local fruits and vegetables in your major meals, regular walk to control bp.

Omron bp apparatus is good. U haven't mentioned your age. If you r an adult, systolic blood pressure of 110-129 and diastolic blood pressure of 80-89 is good. Heart rate is taken normal as 70-110. Hope you will be satisfied.
