Dr. Morepen SPG-03 Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is a leading name in the segment of hospital apparatus and medical calibration tools used to measure blood pressure. The Aneroid Sphygmomanometer consists of an inflatable cuff wrapped around the arms to restrict the blood flow. The blood pressure is calibrated over a circular dial to hint the maximum and minimum pressure. Unlike traditional sphygmomanometers, the Dr. Morepen SPG-03 is completely mercury free and used with a manual pump and connected to a stethoscope to heart beats of the heart. Dr. Morepen SPG-03 Aneroid Sphygmomanometer has a provision for mounting on walls and stands to negate the effects of calibration errors. The entire cardiac cycle can be observed using the Aneroid Sphygmomanometer.

Usually in most cases, the difference is not more than +/- 5 to10 mm Hg but it entirely depends on the apparatus being used and whether the cuff is tied appropriately or not.

Hello Lybrate-user, Accucheck is good for blood sugar or Dr. morepen. The digital blood pressure machine are not reliable and sphygmomanometer is the best for accurate reading. Diamond company is better for that.

Respected sir sr I am a 73 years old man has hypertension. I am required to monitor the same at least once in a month for adjustment of dosage. I have purchased digital sphygmomanometer. Many hospital of late using this digital bp monitoring apparatus. But some medical personnel opine that the result are not accurate as that of manually operated sphygmomanometer. Any variation may lead to wrong reading and wrong dosage which may endanger patients life. Then why use digital sphygmomanometer. Regards dinanath.
