Hi lybrate-user mam don't worry about gestational diabetes, it is quite common. What kind of advice get from your gynaecologist. Do not take self medication. What is the your glucose level based on we can take both allopathy and siddha ayurvedha medication. Or better allopathy medicine enough after delivery you can start only herbal medication. Kerala jamun juice helps for general debility only.

My aunty was taking this vaidyanath karela jamun juice last 2 month's for her diabetes (in addition to the diabetes medicines). Somehow she has developed cold and cough and fever due to the cold nature of jamun .now the fever is gone and also cold .she has stopped that juice. No. There are no side effects. But walk daily for 20 minutes. Stop eating rice and sweet. You should be alright. You are on right track.
