About Triolmezest 40 Tablet

This medication, an angiosen 2 receptor blocker (ARB) along with diuretic and calcium channel blocker (CCB) in combination. It lowers blood pressure by helping the blood vessels to relax, thus facilitating easy movement of blood. Optimal blood pressure levels help prevent kidney disorders, strokes and heart disorders.

This medication is a type of angiosen 2 receptor blocker (ARB) in combination with CCB and diuretic. It drug lowers high blood pressure, by relaxing blood vessels and allowing blood to flow. This medication can also cause side effects. The most common side effects are

  • Headache
  • Back pain
  • Diarrhea
  • presence of blood in urine
  • High triglycerides
  • Fever

Your dosage will depend on factors like age, the condition, severity and whether if you have other medical problems. It is advised to avoid stopping the drug suddenly as it can have serious consequences like abnormal blood pressure spikes. Overdose of this drug can result in symptoms of weakness and dizziness.

    This medication lowers high blood pressure by increasing the excretion of water and sodium through the urine. Also, it relaxes the heart muscles and the blood vessels to promote a smooth flow of blood. It inhibits a sodium-chloride symporter SLC12A3 in the distal convoluted tubule to inhibit water reabsorption in the nephron. The symporter reabsorbs sodium and creates an osmotic gradient for water to be reabsorbed, inhibition of which prevents water reabsorption and also works by inhibiting the entry of calcium into the cardiac and vascular smooth muscles and prevents the contraction of the muscles and thereby reduces the blood pressure.
