Omeprazole While Breastfeeding

I am a male. I have a painless lump in my right breast. It has been increasing in size over the last few years. Though I have consulted a couple of surgeons, but haven't received any cure for the same. I would need advice and guidance.

Please see a breast surgeon. They would examine you and if needed do a mammogram or an ultrasound. The most common cause of breast lump in a male is gynaecomastia. It is usually pubertal in young males and it regresses spontaneously. It could also be due to hormonal imbalance between testosterone and estrogen or increased prolactin level. The cause of imbalance is mostly drugs like anabolic steroids, some antiandeogenic drugs, antipsychotics, diuretics like spironolactone, omeprazole etc. Also testicular tumours and liver failure could lead to the hormonal imbalance. Other causes of lump in a male breast need to be ruled out like lipoma, fibroma, bony or chest wall tumour and rarely male breast cancer. Feel free to come and see me or to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.

My left breast USG report found (MILDLY BULKY LEFT SIDE GLANDULAR TISSUE IN THE SUB-AREOLAR REGION) measure (6 mm in dia) Mild inflammatory changes are seen in the peri areolar region. Impression: MILD gynecomastia on the left side with mild peri areolar inflammatory changes. Did I need any medication?

I wanted to know if I am having gynecomastia or is it just the lower chest fat, I do have certain fat percentage on my body so I'm not a skinny guy but I'm not fat either. My BMI is 22.3. My chest part is bit raised than the nearer body. I don't feel any pain or knot my I press my nipples but they do give a look of breast when my body is not flexed. I go to gym but doesn't take any supplements. People have been pointing on my chest lately.

Please see a breast surgeon. They would examine you and if needed do a mammogram or an ultrasound. If it is only fat then it is called as pseudo-gynaecomastia. If Breast tissue is present on mammogram or ultrasound then it is gynaecomastia. The most common cause of breast lump in a male is gynaecomastia. It is usually pubertal in young males and it regresses spontaneously. It could also be due to hormonal imbalance between testosterone and estrogen or increased prolactin level. I was suffering from typhoid it lasts for about 1 month to get free of it. But consecutively I am now suffering from ...
Typhoid is bacterial infection of the food pipe, got through infected fod items including frozen foods. Diet therapy is as important as medicines to kill the germs. Best probiotic is Curd. Take lots of it to restrore the good bacteria in foodpipe which help digestion but get killed by antibiotics given for typhoid. Avoid fats. Take simple proteins like toned milk through beverages, Boiled eggs & few nuts to get good fats. Simple carbs like Khichri, oats,Coarse grains, Daal, roti, chawal. Eat more frequently but do not force feed. Avoid fried vegetables. Total rest but little activities. Avoid packaged and processed foods.

I have very small breast and want to get rid of it. I feel very bad when I go without shirt. Please suggest me how can I get rid from that.

It could be due to gynaecomastia or rarely due to benign lumps like lipoma or cancer. The gynaecomastia is usually due to the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone levels. It can have various causes like pubertal gynaecomastia, anabolic steroids used by body builders, drugs like anti psychotics, diuretics, steroids, omeprazole to name a few, testicular tumors, liver failure and hyperprolactinemia. Better to see a breast surgeon, who would examine you and if needed ask for an ultrasound and rule out the various etiologies. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.
