Hi lybrate-user. your just 15 years old. Please don't take all these hormonal treatment at an early age. Atleast 18 years later you can take. Don't worry even if your cycles are irregular. Slowly by following few steps your pcod will improve. Pcod is very difficult to be treated. There is no particular treatment for it. Still research is going on. But there are few combination drugs like hormonal and non hormonal treatment shows few symptoms improved. - life style modification is very important. Eating healthy (low fat, oily food and avoiding fast food etc) and doing exercise for 1-2 hours everyday.-weight reduction of 5-6 kgs is needed for u. Then periods become regular by itself. - I need few investigations thyroid test, cbp and usg pelvis scan. -stop all the treatment and take himalayan evacare syrup daily two times morning and evening 10 ml for 3 months.-follow up with these tests then we can plan your treatment accordingly.

Hi, I am a 42 y/o hypertension patient. I have been consuming eritel am tablets (telmisartan 40 mg and amlodipine 5 mg) with glyciphage 850 tablets (metformin) to control high blood pressure and blood glucose. However, I have purchased eritel 40 mg tablets (telmisartan) by mistake. Can I still use it without any side effects?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Glyciphage 1 g and 500 mg both are containing only metformin. I don't understand why two tablets of the drug are used. There is no mention of her fasting and PP glucose levels as well as HbA1c%. Please come back with all these details. Thanks.

Sir could you please tell me Glyciphage sr 500 mg tablet and elcephase 500 mg tablet both are same?
Dear Lybrate use both of them contain the same medication and dose but glyciphage sr is released slowly in the stomach so will contain less gastric side effects. You may consider elcephase 500 sr if it is available as it is same as glycomet 500 sr.
