About Lydia Tablet

This tablet acts as an antihistamine, which tones down the effects of histamine, which produces various symptoms like watery eyes, itching, sneezing and runny nose. Thus, the drug reduces the effects of histamine and its symptoms on the body to a great extent. It also effectively treats hives and other major skin reactions.

In case you suffer from condition like asthma, kidney and liver issues it is best to consult your doctor before you start the drug. Although the drug is not known to harm the fetus make sure you inform your doctor if you are with child or trying to get pregnant. Lactating mothers are generally not prescribed the medicine as it has been found that the drug mixes with breast milk and can have harmful effects on the infant. Children below the age of 6 years are usually not prescribed this medicine.
