About Caroverine

In a condition called tinnitus- which causes a ringing or buzzing sound in the ear drums in spite of no external sounds present, Caroverine is used to treat. Also it is a relaxant for the muscles and is used to treat painful muscle spasms. Circulatory disorders in the cerebral area also is treated and prevented by this drug. It is a part of the Calcium Channel Blocker group and is of synthetic origin.

Delicate hair cells inside the ears which help in transfer of sound waves into brain are when damaged, the condition called tinnitus happen. They mainly get damaged due to over exposure to high decibel sounds. Caroverine is used in such cases for repair.

In patients with hyperthyroidism, cardiac problems, or muscle weakness this drug should be administered with high level of caution. Elderly people also fall in this category. It is not prescribed for newborns.

If Caroverine is taken without proper medical attention or in high doses it may result in side effects like dizziness, nausea, head ache, weakness etc. Also blurred vision, Dry mouth, are some other effects of this drug.
