Trichotillomania is a psychiatric disorder which results in pulling one’s hair in a compulsive manner from any part site on the body of an individual that ultimately leads to bald patches. Hair pulling usually takes place from the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes but it can also occur in other sites like the arms, legs, underarms and pubic regions.
