Who is at risk?
All patients having cirrhosis.
It happens in non cirrhotics too.

What causes of cirrhosis commonly lead to hcc?
Hepatitis b related cirrhosis (most likely), hepatitis c, alcoholic cirrhosis, nash.

Is liver cancer curable?
Yes if diagnosed at an early stage.

Is there any treatment option for advanced hcc?
Yes there are options which can prolong the survival.

How to screen?
All cirrhotics need to get and ultrasound once a year and a blood test called serum alfa fetoprotein.
