You have to understand, that infertility is not a psychological disorder. It is a physical condition of your reproductive system which can be treated with medications. 50% of the women respond to infertility treatments with a successful pregnancy. So while being patient can de-stress you and ease your apprehensions, it cannot treat your infertility problems.

Studies have revealed that men who consume soy-based foods on an average daily basis have a sperm count per milliliter which is 32 percent less than men who do not consume soy-based foods. The reason is that soy-based foods have mild estrogenic effects which are detrimental to a man's fertility. Sea foods are contaminated with a variety of toxins which can be very harmful for both men and women in their pre conception preparations.

It might be a common belief that fertility is a woman's problem, but this is very far from the truth. Fertility problems bother both men and women. Of all the infertility cases reported every year, about 35% concern the womenfolk. But, don't be surprised hearing the fact that an equal percentage of the cases are related to men as well. 20% of the cases are because of a problem in both the partners and 10 percent accrue due to unknown causes.

Though there is no evidence to prove the statement true, research shows that women who underwent stress reduction courses enhanced their chances of pregnancy through IVF (In vitro fertilization). Though women become pregnant under all sorts of stressful conditions, doctors advise patients to work less and avoid stressful jobs while they are trying to conceive.
