It is considered to be a really bad idea for you and your partner to have an intercourse after either or the both of you are drunk. There is a possibility that having a hearty drink can make you drop your guard and enjoy the experience all the more. However, too much of that and it might lead you to act rash and may end up taking decisions which you might regret later. These include unprotected sex that can lead to unplanned pregnancies. Also, having two or three drinks more can cause you to go flaccid down there. If you are with a completely new partner, there remain chances of contracting more serious complications like HIV.

Sex therapists are of the opinion that every couple should quit thinking about the 'numbers' that are considered normal. The important point here is a complete understanding of each other's needs and accepting them. When it comes to sex, there is no definite magic number that can determine the normal count. It all depends on individual time, energy, lifestyle and the mutual desire among partners. A satisfying sex life does not depend on the number of times you have sex; rather getting what you want and at the same time giving your partner what he/she wants.

It has been observed that a large percentage of couples refrain from having sex during pregnancy because they have a misconception that the intercourse may somehow hurt the baby in the womb. This is not true. Your baby will not be hurt when you are making love with your partner, even if he is on top of you. The amniotic sac, along with the strong muscles of the womb, efficiently protects the baby.

Endometriosis is a condition wherein the uterine tissue grows outside the uterus, such as the fallopian tubes and ovaries, thus causing pelvic pain. It mainly affects women who haven't borne a child or those who have become mothers at an advanced age. Studies show that women, who have sexual intercourse when menstruating, are less likely to develop endometriosis.
