Generally calcium supplements donor cause kidney stones. But as a diabetic your kidney function needs to be monitored ie renal function tests. Uti is common in diabetics and has nothing to do with calcium supplements. To prevent stones and uti, you need to increase your fluid intake and avoid food items which hv seeds like guavas, pomegranates, ladyfinger, brinjal.
