Dear sir, usually not recommended because newborn babies are more prone to skin allergies. An allergic reaction occurs when the body has an adverse response to a usually harmless substance, such as a soap or a specific food. Babies have sensitive skin, which makes them more likely than adults to develop a rash. Even a slight irritation to a baby's skin may be enough to trigger a rash. Keep in touch for specific concern.

Hello- No it can't. applying savlon or other antiseptic liquid is not a effective methods for preventing STDs, and in fact, there's evidence that irritation caused by chemicals in it may actually increase STD infection risk. Abstaining from sex and the proper use of condoms are the best ways to reduce STD risk.

Fungal infection or Ring worm. When occurs in groin, called as jock itch. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds. It's mostly circular or round in appearance. May be red or black in colour. Treatment depending on the type and severity. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it. As it has to be differentiated from eczema and infection, its a must to see and confirm the diagnosis for proper treatment. Besides using antiseptic liquid like savlon liquid for first-aid, you can use it for washing clothes, you can use about 1 spoon of it mixed with mild detergent to wash the baby clothes.
