It is important to limit the calorie under the standard range. So, if you eat more calories than your daily calorie needs, you will gain weight. Mangoes are good for health when you eat two to three in a day. A medium-sized ripe mango has about 135 calories. Let's say, you are eating 5 meals a day then you can replace one of your meals with 3 mangoes (400 calories). Also, mangoes contain more sugar than some other fruits, so consider enjoying mango in moderation.

Is mango good for diabetic person, sir my father refuse to take mango that's why.
Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The ripe mango is very sweet offers a large amount of calories. Hence, it is not good for a person with diabetes, Occasionally a small piece can be eaten, but not more. It is good if he is refusing to eat it. Thanks.
