Biohomin tablet contains L-Methylfolate, Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine.

L-methylfolate is used for dietary management of low blood cell folate level in certain patients.
Folic Acid is proven to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs) and birth defects. Many people are unable to fully convert regular folic acid to L-methylfolate. This limited absorption results in asignificant reduction in the amount of L-methylfolate made available to the body limiting the ability to build and maintain healthy reserves of folic acid andsignificantly increases the risk of birth defects.
Methylcobalamin is an essential nutrient that helps the body to make healthy red blood cells and nerve cells. Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in the cells of diabetic patient. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in people with neuropathies. Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.
L-Methylfolate and Methylcobalamin is also proven to lower levels of homocysteine - an amino acid linked to cardiovascular disease and more importantly, pregnancy complications. Such pregnancy complications include: preeclampsia, low birth weight, miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss and placental abruption.
